Extremely deep intense purple colour. Somewhat resiny, spicy, juicy, ripe black cherry puree nose with lots of cedary notes. Off dry, medium bodied, very juicy, spicy, black cherry puree flavours with a lingering, cedary, clove-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 524223

Purple Cowboy has raised a truly amazing $22 million and counting for breast cancer research and awareness. Proceeds from the sale of this wine in Vintages will contribute to the winery's commitment to donate $10,000 to Wellspring's (wellspring.ca) Nourish program, which offers nutrition-based sessions that teach cancer patients and their family members about healthy nutritional practices pertaining to cancer and wellness. TASTING NOTE: With a husband and son who are both professional rodeo cowboys, and herself a breast cancer survivor and awareness activist, Terry Wheatley, creator of Purple Cowboy wines, knows a thing or two about true grit.
