LE CHARMOIS SAINT AUBIN 1ER CRU 2014 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PICARD
Bright medium straw colour. Very attractive, intense, complex, warm brioche, essence of key lime pie nose with some complex notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, rich, dense, intense, bright, ripe lemon meringue and key lime pie flavours with a long, lingering, vibrant, high acid, toasty, cedar-tinged finish. This is a style that really appeals to me and it will hold. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 522078

TASTING NOTE: Grown in fossil-rich limestone, this wine was matured mainly in a neutral wooden tank with smaller portions aged in first-, second-, third- and fourth-vintage oak barrels. The result is a wine with complex aromas and flavours of flowers, buttered toast, banana cream, baked apple and pineapple, all enlivened by crisp acidity. Elegant and intense.
