Donatien Bahuaud founded this estate in 1929. From a family of clog makers, coopers and grape growers, Bahuaud was determined to see Muscadet reclaim its former glory - it had been a favourite of British royalty and the French aristocracy during the Renaissance. This will be crafted in a classic off-dry style and is typically a refined, high-toned expression with mineral, pear and peach alongside the distinctive waxy notes that define these wines. Expect this to be bright and vibrant with plenty of food-friendly acidity keeping the sweetness in balance. Enjoy with scallops or lightly spiced mango chicken. Price $ 19.95
