TASTING NOTE: Drought conditions in California's 2014 vintage produced intense, weighty wines such as this fleshy Merlot, which was aged for 20 months in French oak. It offers rich plum and cherry flavours underscored by toasty oak, all wrapped in a creamy texture. (Vintages panel, March 2017) |
