CRÉMANT DE BORDEAUX Traditional method, AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PREMIUS
Pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, apple cider nose. Off dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, honeyed, apple-melon puree flavours with a fairly crisp, unoaked, gently effervescent finish. This commercial, entry-level Bordeaux bubbly made with Semillon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc has 12% alcohol and 13 g/L residual sugar. Ready-to-drink and sadly, not much fun here. CSPC 515239

TASTING NOTE: A fun blend of Bordeaux's Semillon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this offers suggestions of green apple, citrus and peach with a delicate touch of baked bread tones adding depth. Soft and round with superb replays. An excellent price, and a wine that you can judge by the label - it's as pretty inside as it is outside. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) Price $ 19.95
