DAIRYMAN VINEYARD PINOT NOIR 2015 Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BELLE GLOS
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, very spicy, juicy, ripe cherry puree nose with some sweet chocolate notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, extracty, dense, baked, very ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, slightly cedary, fairly high acid finish. While it is quite tasty and ready-to-drink, this entry-level inspired crowd-pleaser is, stylistically speaking, not at all in my Pinot Noir ballpark. Has 14.5% alcohol and 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number A1025116 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Not up to the 2013 (***) released on April 18, 2015 at $44.95. CSPC 366013
