TASTING NOTE: The Tempranillo and Merlot for this wine are sourced from vines grown in the highest vineyards in Ribera del Duero - some 915 metres above sea level. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak and was bottled without filtration. Floral, with black fruit, plum, coffee and cocoa tones on the nose. It's crafted in a smooth, easy-to-approach style. This will be a good choice for a meaty autumn stew. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2017) |
