Deep purple colour. Spicy, complex, faintly earthy, gently juicy, plum-cherry nose with some cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, gently complex, spicy, intense, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, gently cedary finish. This blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre as 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. TASTING NOTE: Shows the purity and focus of the vintage, with a lovely core of fresh plum, raspberry and blackberry fruit melded together and backed by a light graphite spine on the violet-edged finish.
