TASTING NOTE: Bordeaux's 2006 vintage had a tough act to follow coming on the heels of the legendary 2005 growing season. But wines such as this 2006 Peymelon support the fact that 2006 produced excellent, ageable wines across all price points and regions. This is an exciting older-vintage Bordeaux that is offering notes of tobacco, fig, dark cherry and spice alongside the mature leather tones. A great price for maturing Bordeaux.
