Deep purple red colour. Slightly spicy, leather-tinged, mature, plum-cherry nose. Dry, medium bodied, very spicy, ripe, fleshy, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-tinged, red licorice finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L153140 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: Deep ruby. Ripe blueberry and cherry aromas show an expansive character, picking up woodsmoke and floral nuances with air. Fleshy and ample on the palate, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors and a hint of bitter chocolate. Closes sweet and long, with slow-building tannins and a touch of mocha.
