Deep purple red colour. Slightly spicy, sandalwood nose with some warm ripe plum and red licorice notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, very slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum flavours with a slightly cedary, fairly high acid finish. Has 13% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L171572 on the back label. Better than the 2013 (**) released on March 18, 2017 at $18.95. |
