Extremely deep intense purple colour. Somewhat cedary, spicy, intense, baked cherry-plum nose with some faint acetic notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very slightly spicy, baked plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. TASTING NOTE: I like the tension and minerality to this red with some licorice and blackberry character. Brick undertone. Full to medium body, linear backbone of tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now. Score - 90 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Nov. 17, 2015) |
