Medium deep purple red colour. Very spicy, bright, dusty, cherry-plum nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, somewhat tart, plum-apple-cherry flavours with a very crisp, slightly herbal, unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L08317 on the back label. No detour here. However, if you want to try a great Xinomavro, go for a bottle of the recently released DOMAINE KARYDAS XINOMAVRO 2012 (April 15 Vintages #272013) a Recommended Best Buy and a bargain at only $21.75.
