Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHÂTEAU MONT-REDON
Very deep intense purple colour. Fairly complex, spicy, bright, plummy, red currant nose with some licorice-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, slightly spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently complex, somewhat savoury, cedar-chestnut finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number 1141248 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Cedary, spicy, herbal, blackberry nose; full-bodied, dry, elegant and savoury with a firm tannic finish. CSPC 959627

TASTING NOTE: Deep ruby. Fragrant, complex scents of ripe cherry and red berries, with deeper licorice and dark chocolate nuances adding complexity. Round and pliant in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet black raspberry and cherry compote flavors that become livelier and spicier with air.
