TASTING NOTE: After being injured in combat in World War II, André Delorme left the front and returned to Rully in Burgundy, where he founded his own company. This is classic red Burgundy with lovely sour cherry, wild raspberry, meat and autumn leaves. It's lithe and graceful with a nice rustic quality and a tart-and-tangy finish. Enjoy now through 2020 with beef bourguignon. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2017) |
