Extremely deep intense purple colour. Somewhat herbal, fairly cedary, intense, baked plum-apple-sandalwood nose. Dry, medium-full bodied, extracty, slightly spicy, intense, baked plum-apple flavours with a lingering, cedary, somewhat herbal, faintly peppery finish. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Cedary, black currant nose with vanilla oak; full-bodied, dry, spicy blackberry and black currant with balancing acidity and well-integrated oak. Lovely mouth-feel. This blend of 92% Carmenere and 8% Petit Verdot has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. It comes in a very heavy bottle. CSPC 62364

TASTING NOTE: This has a perfect nose of blackberry, tar, black pepper, thyme, cloves and rose petal. Full body and firm and very silky and polished tannins. The finish goes on for minutes.
