QUINTA DO CRASTO |
Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, sweet, ripe plum nose with some caramel-vanilla notes. Sweet medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, mouthfilling, rich, ripe, plum flavours with a lingering, bright, sandalwood-caramel-tinged finish. A lovely size for sipping at a great price. Has 20% alcohol and 114 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-09L16 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: What could be a better way to finish a fine meal for two, than with a half-bottle of fine LBV Port? This one offers sweet cherry, plum, raisin and fig notes with a long, complex finish. Pair with dark-chocolate-dipped strawberries. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) |
