Deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, tangy, ripe plum-cherry-apple nose with some cedar notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, harmonious, fairly juicy, ripe plum-cherry-apple puree flavours with a lingering, crisp, somewhat cedary finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, vanilla oak and blackcurrant aromas; full-bodied, creamy, dry, plum and currant flavours finishing firmly with ripe tannins. The 2014 (**) was released on April 1, 2017 at $14.95. |
