Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, bright, cooked plum-cherry nose with some cedary herbal notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, very spicy, baked plum-apple flavours with a very crisp, cedary, somewhat bitter finish. This 14.5% alcohol blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Monastrell has 4g/L residual sugar that’s quite ready-to-drink. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Herbal, cherry nose; medium-bodied, dry, creamy sandalwood and cherry flavour with a firm tannic finish. Mature. The 2012 (*+) was released on August 20, 2016 at $14.95.
