Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, intense, cedary, ripe plum-apple-cherry nose with some clove notes. Dry, medium bodied, very spicy, intense, plum-apple flavours with a very crisp, faintly peppery, sandalwood-tinged, clove finish. This blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L7144 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Baked plum nose with cedar notes; medium-bodied, dry, firmly structured, red plum flavour with a firm tannic finish. |
