TASTING NOTE: Ripe and well fruited; blackberries with a touch of spice; 8% cab franc. Firmly built as proper cab should be but fresh, sweet, and prolonged fruit already tempt. More so after good few years. Oak polished, 30% new French. Score - 4 Stars (out of 5) (Platter's South African Wine Guide, 2017) |
