Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat vegetal, faintly bitter, herbal, dried plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, extracty, slightly bitter, herbal, dusty, plum and red pepper flavours with a lingering, very crisp, mocha-tinged finish. This blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16190 on the back label and a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 85-points - Smoky, cedary, spicy nose of black fruits; medium-bodied, smoky, tarry with a bitter herbal flavour and a tannic finish. CSPC 172593

TASTING NOTE: Ripe and well fruited; blackberries with a touch of spice; 8% cab franc. Firmly built as proper cab should be but fresh, sweet, and prolonged fruit already tempt.
