| Deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, dusty plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary finish. Ready-to-drink. This third REPEAT has 13.5% alcohol and now 2 g/L residual sugar (vs. 7 g/L residual sugar). Not up to the recommended 2013 (**/**+) with 88-points last released on March 18, 2017 at $16.95. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Spicy, vanilla oak and plum bouquet; medium to full-bodied, leaner on the palate than the nose suggests; firmly structured, well balanced. |
