CHÂTEAU CLARKE 2010 AC Listrac-Médoc |

Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, intense, warm ripe plum nose with some very cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, extracty, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, extremely cedary finish. Wow, is this REPEAT of the recommended 2010 (***) released on May 27, 2017 at $41.95 ever different. It has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LCO2124 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Tasted twice. It’s puzzling, I do not know why this is showing so much oak at the moment. |

TASTING NOTE: Extreme nose of crushed raspberries and minerals. Full body, with very integrated tannins and a fresh clean finish. Lasts for minutes. Very well done. Better in 2016. Score - 93 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Feb. 16, 2013) |
