Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, somewhat cedary, lifted, ripe plum-cherry-black currant puree nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, quite well structured, intense, spicy, hot, plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, crisp, cassis-tinged, cedary, mocha-chocolate finish. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Intense blackcurrant and vanilla oak; medium-bodied, dry, well extracted blackcurrant flavour and firmly structured. Has 14.1% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L6204 on the back label. |
