| Forward bright medium deep yellow colour. Honeyed, gently cedary, baked lemon meringue nose with some toasty lychee-tinged notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, spicy, honeyed, tangy, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, cedary crisp, fairly high acid finish. Ready-to-drink. Screwcap closure. This Chardonnay Clone 809 (aka Chardonnay Musqué) based white has 14.9% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 259160823 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Spicy-clovey nose of apples with a floral note; full-bodied, dry, toasty, apple with a note of orange blossom (Muscat-like). Old style California Chardonnay with great length. A REPEAT of the 2015 (**/**+) was released on April 29, 2017 at $34.95. |
