| Very bright medium straw colour. Slightly spicy, ripe yellow plum-apple-melon nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, attractive, fresh ripe apple-melon flavours with a lingering, crisp, yellow grapefruit-tinged, unoaked finish. Even better than the recommended best buy 2015 (**/**+) released on December 10, 2016 at $17.95. A Wine Value Awards 2017 Gold Medal Best Buy. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Minerally, green melon bouquet; medium-bodied, dry, ripe melon and lemon flavours. Well-balanced. This 100% Trebbiano di Lugana is actually related to the Verdicchio family! It has 13% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar with lot number L10217 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Terrific with seafood, especially oysters. |
