Forward light yellow colour. Intense, bright, lemon-key-lime-pie nose with some faintly resiny, cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, mouthfilling, complex, slightly spicy, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a fairly high acid finish . Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Not quite up to the recommended best buy 2014 (***) released on April 1, 2017 at $29.95 with 92-points TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Spicy, oaky, toasty nose with a barnyard note; medium to full-bodied, dry, spicy, peachy-melon flavour with citrus acidity and well-integrated oak; rich mouth-feel. |
