Very deep intense purple colour. Complex, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, harmonious, ripe cherry-plum puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16281M2 on the back label and a screwcap closure. CSPC 486209

It serves up red and black berry fruit, earth, leather, tobacco smoke, bright acidity and chewy tannins. Good value. Pair with barbecued balsamic-glazed chicken.
