Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, cedary, baked ripe plum-cherry puree nose. Dry, medium bodied,slightly spicy, tangy, dried plum-apple-cherry flavours with a very crisp finish. This 14% alcohol blend of 49% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 15% Carignan, 11% Cinsault and 6% Mourvèdre was aged 11 months in oak barrels. TONY ASPLER / 85-points - Plummy nose with an old barrel note; medium-bodied, dry, with a burlap flavour of sour cherries and a firm tannic finish.
