TASTING NOTE: I like this delicate, rather elegant, stylish merlot for its complexity and refinement. It does not have the power or richness of others from the area but its nose of black and red berry fruit with cedar, smokey bacon and dark chocolate is very appealing. It is midweight with soft acidity and gentle tannin for balance. It finishes dry with very good length. Best 2017 to 2021. Score - 88 (Steve Thurlow, winealign.com, May 19, 2017) |
