| Extremely bright deep intense purple colour. Gently cedary, complex, slightly smoky, intense, ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood-licorice notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, very bright, slightly spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 12.7% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. The recommended 2013 (**/**+) with 88.5-points was released on October 29, 2016 at $22.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: This is a real treat for you Ontario Syrah fans because this 2014 edition is exactly where you would expect a cool climate Syrah to be. Made using declassified \"Broken Press\" fruit it delivers hints of smokiness along with raspberry, black cherry and floral - and it all results in a pretty concentrated wine once it hits the mid-palate and settles in on the finish.
