Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, fruit driven, cassis-plum-cherry-apple nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, tangy, cherry-plum-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. This blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L171354 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, plum and pencil lead on the nose; medium to full-bodied, dry and fruity with lively acidity. |

TASTING NOTE: A blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre that was raised in stainless steel, it's a pretty, elegant and layered red to gives up gorgeous notes of violets, spring flowers, pepper and subtle mint. Utterly seamless on the palate, it's a joy to drink, and should dish out plenty of pleasure over the coming 2-3 years. Drink Date: 2015-2018. Score - 90 (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 29, 2015) |
