TASTING NOTE: Here is a classic Italian metodo classico sparkling wine that you can count on for a long list of drinking occasions. The non-vintage Trento Brut is luminous and bright with measured intensity that hits all the right buttons. The wine delivers on its promise, although it takes no big risks either. The bouquet shows yellow fruit, citrus and baked bread. There are also very Italian notes of sage and dried herb that link the wine to a romantic sense of place. It is aged in stainless steel and ages on the lees for two years. Drink Date: 2016-2022. Score - 90 (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, May 29, 2016) Price $ 24.95
