Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SAGRADO
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, dusty, dried plum-apple nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, faintly dusty, plum-cherry-apple flavours with a very crisp, gently cedary, high acid finish. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, blackberry bouquet; medium-bodied, dry, red plum flavour with lively acidity and a firm structure. This 13.5% alcohol blend of Douro varieties was foot-trodden and wild fermented with 6 months aging in barriques. The lot number is SA16917 and appears on the lower part of the glass bottle.
