Very deep intense purple colour. gently complex, intense, somewhat earthy, baked plum nose with some cedary notes. Medium full bodied, harmonious, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, slightly spicy, cedary finish. This François Lurton blend 40% Carignan along with Grenache and Syrah as 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. Better than the tired 2004 (*+/**) released on February 6, 2016 at $31.95. CSPC 654590
