TASTING NOTE: La Clape, which was once an island during the Roman era, is now part of the Narbonnaise Nature Reserve. This wine offers enticing notes of spice box, blackberry tart, cherry preserves and garrigue wrapped in ripe tannins. Pair with meat pies or lamb burgers. (Vintages panel, July 2017) |
