TASTING NOTE: Dark garnet color. Lively, roasted aromas and flavors of dark roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and dried cherries with a silky, bright body and a silky, interesting, relaxed beet, sweet potato, and cedar bark finish with crunchy, fine tannins and moderate oak. A smooth, flavorful and engaging pinot with nice oak. Exceptional. Best Buy. Score - 90 (The Beverage Testing Institute, tastings.com, April 28, 2016) |
