Bright medium straw colour. Somewhat shy, slightly honeyed, faintly spicy, lemon-apple nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, ripe apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, crisp, tangy, unoaked, mineral-tinged finish with some hints of hazelnut. Still tight. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L6188 on the capsule. Not up to the 2014 (**/**+) released on June 11, 2016 at $31.95. This family-run estate was established in 1850, and the vines used to produce this 2015 were sourced from vines 30-45 years of age. Look for classically articulated notes of mineral, pear and apple on the nose and palate with a dynamic freshness and lift.
