LES FLOCONS SAVOIE BLANC 2015 AP |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
PHILIPPE VIALLET |
Bright medium straw colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe melon-apple-lemon nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, elegant albeit quite well structured, tangy, ripe apple-lemon-melon flavours with some yellow plum and grapefruit notes on the lingering, crisp, unoaked finish. This ready-to-drink blend of Chasselas, Chardonnay, Altesse with a majority of Jacquere would be great with a cheese fondu. Has 11.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L151327/1327 on the capsule. TONY ASPLER / 88-points / BUY - Minerally, white peach nose with a light floral note; medium-bodied, dry, nicely balanced, fresh on the palate with a minerally, crab apple flavour and a note of bitter almond on the finish. |
