TASTING NOTE: The Central Coast AVA stretches from Monterey County to Santa Barbara County and its wines, such as this Chardonnay, strive to express the climates and soils that make up this large yet diverse appellation. This wine shows ripe peach, baked apple and butterscotch notes on a nicely balanced frame. Pair with butter-brushed grilled lobster tail. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2017) |
