Bright light reddish pink colour. Spicy, plum nose with some earthy, slightly sulphury notes. Dry, medium-light to light bodied, faintly honeyed, slightly spicy, apple-plum-lemon flavours with a crisp, unoaked, somewhat bitter finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L03917 on the back label. Not up to the recommended best buy 2015 (**) released on August 6, 2016 at $12.95. CSPC 71050

TASTING NOTE: This wine is made with Xinomavro grapes grown at an altitude of 700 m in the Amyndeon appellation, the only Greek PDO specifically for rosé. It's zesty and tangy with red cherry, watermelon and raspberry aromas and flavours plus a touch of crunchy red pepper on the lip-smacking finish. Pair with green salads or grilled pork kebabs.
