Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, juicy, surprisingly youthful, ripe plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very bright, tangy, spicy, juicy ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering crisp finish. TASTING NOTE: Gold Medal winner at the 2016 International Wine Awards, this Garnacha blend is soft and plummy with red berry, black pepper and earthy notes. Good structure here, and a long finish. Pair with grilled sausages or cured meats. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2017) |
