TASTING NOTE: 'Cazal-viel' means 'old house' - fans of '80s music out there may want to put on some Smiths tunes while you sip this wine and are transported Back to the Old House. Layers of coffee, spice, hickory smoke and sunny berry fruit introduce a ripe, balanced wine that gives a good sense of the Mediterranean climate in which it was grown. Pair with cured meats and soft cheeses. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2016) |
