LCBO Text Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
Located near Toulouse, the vineyard of Château Clamens covers 25 ha in the appellation of Fronton in southwestern France. This rosé is based on the local Negrette grape and is classically delicate, fresh and pretty with berry fruit and floral notes. Give it a go with grilled chicken or green salads. TASTING NOTE: (translated from French) Bright, salmon colour. Fine nose evoking confectionery, English candy, mandarin, a touch of mineral and sweet spices. In the mouth it's round, robust and silky with racy fruit framed by a beautiful freshness. All the makings of an impressive rosé. Score - 90 (Guide Gilbert & Gaillard, 2017) Price $ 18.95
