Fairly deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, dried ripe apple-plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, quite harmonious, slightly spicy, intense, dried ripe apple-plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, sandalwood-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 15.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number 175 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Dense purple colour; cedary, plum and raisin nose; full-bodied, dry, rich and full on the palate, elegant, beautifully balanced and firm. |
