| Medium deep ruby red colour. Marzipan-driven nose with some stewed plum-prune notes. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat tart, faintly peppery, intense, intense, cooked plum-apple-marzipan flavours followed up by a lingering, somewhat bitter, raisiny, perhaps even faintly volatile finish. Spent 18 months in oak. Tasted twice - it’s definitely not my style. This REPEAT has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L176 on the back label. The 2011 (*) with 83-points was last released on January 7, 2017 at $19.95 with lot number L116 on the back label. . |

| TASTING NOTE: An intriguing Ripasso, mid-weight, bright, vibrant and expressive. Very lightly spiced with keenly integrated wood. A touch of volatility gives the wine a hand-crafted feel and the purity of fruit is highly appealing. Carefully crafted so that the re-passed must does not add disjointed weight or astringency.
