TASTING NOTE: Offering lots of spiced stone fruits, citrus blossom and subtle minerality, the 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes Cadireta is medium-bodied, classy and fresh, with bright acidity giving some lift to its fruit. Made from 95% Chardonnay and 5% Viognier that was raised mostly in stainless steel (it was aged on Sauvignon Blanc lees), it's another rock-solid white from this terrific estate that should be purchased by the case and enjoyed over the coming couple of years. Drink Date: 2016-2018. Score - 89 (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 27, 2016) |
