Bright extremely pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple-melon nose with lots of mineral notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, tangy, mineral-tinged, apple-melon flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked, fairly high acid finish. Quite ready-to-drink. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BEST BUY - Minerally, floral , apple nose with a suggestion of oak; medium-bodied, dry, pear and apple flavours with citrus acidity. This blend of 95% Chardonnay and 5% Viognier has 13% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0217100 on the back label. CSPC 448472

TASTING NOTE: Offering lots of spiced stone fruits, citrus blossom and subtle minerality, the 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes Cadireta is medium-bodied, classy and fresh, with bright acidity giving some lift to its fruit. Made from 95% Chardonnay and 5% Viognier that was raised mostly in stainless steel (it was aged on Sauvignon Blanc lees), it's another rock-solid white from this terrific estate that should be purchased by the case and enjoyed over the coming couple of years.
