Very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, gently cedary, fairly complex, slightly spicy, ripe plum puree nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, fairly intense, gently complex, fairly rich, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, harmonious, gently complex, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. This REPEAT now has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The recommended best buy 2012 (**+) was last released on May 28, 2016 at $24.95. TASTING NOTE: Telling notes of black currant, cedar, pipe tobacco, and cracked black pepper on the nose. The palate shows restraint with dark fruits balanced by savory herbs and a toasted spice.
