TASTING NOTE: This took a silver medal at the National Wine Awards in 2016. It shows a fairly generous, richly fruited nose of peach, spice and a touch of petrol. Lots of flesh and richness on the palate with excellent acidity and a touch of sweetness. Some power here, with very good to excellent length. Not as lean as many Niagara rieslings; strikes me as more Alsatian. Score - 89 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Jan. 16, 2017) |
