Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
BERINGER |
Forward very bright light yellow colour. Intense, lemon meringue nose with lots of toasty notes and a touch of pineapple-coconut. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, bright key lime pie flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, very cedary, somewhat tropical, pineapple-coconut finish. Has 14.9% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. Does not have the finesse of the preferred lower alcohol, less sweet, 2014 (***) released on October 29, 2016 at $47.95. |
